*CERTIFIED MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST, HEMATOLOGY: Elmgrove Park Perform precise specimen analysis and report results accurately. Recognize deviation from expected results, analyze and correct problems using scientific principles. BS, Med Tech w ASCP Certification, NYS Dept of Education Licensure, 5 yrs Flow Cytometry exp required. (1) Days, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, rotating weekends, no holidays.

**PATIENT SERVICE TECHNICIAN I OR II (PHLEBOTOMIST): ACM Lab @ Unity Hospital Execute venipuncture procedure, including heel stick techniques for the procurement of blood specimens. Perform essential functions necessary to maintain integrity of specimens. HS or equiv required, certificate from school of phlebotomy with documented clinical exp required. (2) FT, Evenings, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, every other weekend and 3 out of 6 holidays.

CLIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE, LONG POND: ACM Lab @ Unity Hospital Answer incoming phone calls and handle various customer requests. Monitor call list, record customer communications, distribute lab reports, monitor customer service actions (CSAs) and STAT turnaround times, monitor hospital admission and discharge reports, sort and file requisitions. HS degree or equiv required, 2 yrs prior exp in a laboratory setting preferred. Customer service exp, good communication skills and word processing, computer skills are required. (1) PT, 16 hrs, every other weekend, Sat & Sun, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM and rotate 3 out of 6 holidays.

SPECIMEN PROCESSING TECHNICIAN I OR II: ACM LAB @ UNITY HOSPITAL Expedite the processing of STAT specimens from emergency dept. and other locations of the hospital that require immediate test results. Receive and track patient samples into the Lab Information System (LIS), maintain specimen integrity for lab testing. Assist in centrifuging and loading analyzer instrumentation. HS diploma required, AS in Lab Science preferred. Data entry required, medical terminology preferred. (1) PT, 24 hrs wkly, rotate day/evening/night shift, work every other weekend and 3 out of 6 holidays.

SUPERVISOR, CLIENT & CUSTOMER SERVICE: ACM LAB @ UNITY HOSPITAL Supervises Patient and Customer Service areas. Ensures adequate staffing levels. Posts schedules, approves and communicates changes to schedule. Approves time off requests, documents employee hours and timecards. Coordinates the day-to-day workload. Assumes phlebotomy and customer service responsibilities as needed. Schedules mandatory in-services, enforces company policies, prepares and delivers annual and interim performance evaluations and makes salary recommendations. Participates in all aspects of personnel management, ie. hiring, transferring disciplining and terminating. HS or equiv required, Associates degree preferred. Exp in specimen procurement, processing and customer service required. Certificate from school of phlebotomy with documented clinical exp or applicable yrs of phleb exp AND Min of 1 yr supervisory exp required. (1) FT, Days, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (flexible), occasional weekends.

PATIENT SERVICES TECHNICIAN , ROAD TECH (PHLEBOTOMY): Elmgrove Park Phlebotomists hired as road technicians are required to accept assignments to multiple nursing homes and patient homes on a daily basis. In addition, any technician hired as a Road Tech may be asked on occasion to temporarily accept Float Technician assignments. Float Techs are required to accept assignments at any and all of our Patient Service Centers. Both assignments require personal, reliable transportation to fulfill daily work assignments. HS or equiv required. 1 yr phlebotomy exp required, documented clinical exp preferred. Valid NYS Drivers License with no moving violations in the past 18 months, excellent communication and problem solving skills. Basic keyboard and data entry skills are required. (1) FT, Days, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, rotating weekends, holidays as needed.

PROJECT MANAGER, CLINICAL TRIALS: Elmgrove Park Reviews clinical protocols and assists with protocol set-up functions as required. Develops the Protocol Specification Document, Investigator Manual and protocol specific operating procedures. Participates in and documents quality audits and inspections of Clinical Trials as prescribed by departmental policies and regulatory agencies. Basic monitoring function for protocol, compiles project metrics and analyses, conducts investigator training by phone or at investigator meetings. Troubleshoots, takes on-call duties. Bachelors degree REQUIRED in scientific or health care concentration preferred. One year Clinical Trial exp, excellent verbal and written skills, customer service exp and strong computer skills REQUIRED. (1) FT, Days.

BUILDING SERVICE TECHNICIAN: Elmgrove Park Ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean safe and comfortable manner in accordance with all regulations governing our facility. Cleaning and disinfecting facility and equipment. Emptying all biohazards, trash receptacles and recycling containers. Cleaning carpets, stripping and waxing floors, cleaning and disinfecting all coolers, biohazard buckets and lab refrigerators. Ordering and stocking central supply areas with cleaning supplies. Perform safety inspections and fire drills, secure building, equipment checks, respond to pages promptly. HS diploma or equiv required. Ability to use chemicals and cleaning agents in a safe and practical manner. (1) FT, Nights/Days, 3:30 AM – 12:00 PM, no weekends or holidays.

SUPERVISOR, SPECIMEN PROCESSING TRADITIONAL: Elmgrove Park Prepares schedule and arranges coverage. Documents employee hours and authorizes time sheets. Schedules employees for mandatory in-services. Assumes bench work responsibilities when scheduled or in staffing shortages. Monitors inventory and ordering of supplies. Monitors employees performance and department turn around times. Participates in recruiting, hiring, training and performance evaluations. Addresses and documents personnel issues. Participates in meetings on a regular basis. HS diploma or equiv required. Associates Degree in science related field preferred. Min of 1 yr supervisory exp required. Laboratory experience preferred. (1) FT, Evening/Nights, 8 hr shift will fall in the 5:00 PM – 4:00 AM range of hrs.

Work with the Field Service Specialist to successfully add clients while growing and securing the business with existing clients. Associates Degree required, Bachelors Degree preferred. Min 2 yrs laboratory sales exp required, 2 yrs hospital lab reference sales exp preferred. Ensure adequate staffing levels, monitor employee performance, oversee quality control and proficiency testing processes.
