ACM Medical Laboratory, one of New York State's largest regional reference laboratories, conducts over 7 million clinical tests annually for physicians, hospitals, employers, and other health care providers. We offer over 1500 assays - from simple blood analysis to complex molecular diagnosis performed at our central laboratory facility in Rochester, New York . ACM Medical Laboratory, founded in 1975, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Unity Health System.

Specimen requirements
The specimen requirements specify:
Requested Volume; an amount sufficient to run the test in duplicate if necessary.
Specimen Type; indicates whether the appropriate sample is serum, plasma, whole blood, urine, CSF, stool, amniotic fluid or other material.
Storage temperature; all specimens should be refrigerated at 36-46°F unless specifically instructed to store at room temperature or freeze (32°F or below).
Special handling; notes which indicate any additional steps (Spin immediately, Do not use BARRIER tube, Centrifuge, etc.) |
