*MANAGER, PURCHASING, PURCHASING DEPARTMENT:  160 Elmgrove Park  Directly supervises staff and manages the operations of the purchasing department which includes establishing and tracking metrics that measure customer satisfaction, financial performance, employee satisfaction, FEMA;s performance improvement and QA data, operational initiatives, staff efficiency/productivity, asists with internal and external audites.  REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in related field, 5-7 years experience in planning, purchasing and inventory control.  Have understanding of class, rates and terms of sale inbound and out bound frieght, domestic and global.  Inventory Control/MRP and forecasting, business process improvement processes, strong interpersonal and negotiating skills,  Preferred:  MBA or CPM, Healthcare and healthcare delivery exp, Internet auctions and global supply chain development experience.  (1) FT, Days, 8-5.  APPLY

*DIRECTOR, BILLING & REVENUE, BILLING DEPARTMENT: 160 Elmgrove Park Oversees and directs the day to day operations of Patient billing and Clinical Trials billing functions for the company including billing, claims filing, cash application, aging review, monthly reporting and analysis. Directly supervises staff and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance. DATA ANALYST II, CLINICAL TRIALS DATA MANAGEMENT: 160 Elmgrove Park  Mange and enhance utilization of SAS commercial application, manage clinical studies from database set-up through database lock, including the creation of data cleaning plan, definition and validation of edit checks, data review, coding and data reconciliation. Design and maintain custom databases for global client. Communicate and participate in teleconferences with sponsors and Clinical Research Organizations (CROs), develop new reports as needed, provide technical support. REQUIRED: BA or BS degree in Computer Science or related field, 2 yrs clinical trials,data management related exp OR Associates Degree with 3-5 yrs clinical trials data management exp. Familiar with SQL and Microsoft Access. Database and programming knowledge, strong attention to detail. PREFERRED: Crystal Report exp, SAS or other statistical analysis software. MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST, CHEMISTRY: 160 Elmgrove Park  Precise specimen analysis and report results accurately. Recognize deviation from expected results, analyze and correct problems using scientific principles. MANAGER, CLINICAL TRIALS DATA MANAGEMENT: 160 Elmgrove Park Manage  Day to day activities and long term initiatives for clinical trials data management group. Interact with internal departments and external customers to assure data reporting deliverables are met in accordance with predefined goals and objectives. Directly manage 4-6 members of clinical trials data management group, help to define department budgets, establish policies and procedures and lead department wide process improvement projects. REQUIRED: Bachelors Degree in technical field, 3-5 yrs management and data management experience. PREFERRED: Masters degree in related field, experience in clinical trials data management. MANAGER LABORATORY QUALITY ASSURANCE, QUALITY ASSURANCE: 160 Elmgrove Park  Under the direction of the executive Director, Global QA and Compliance, independently perform a wide range of duties to ensure that ACM Medical Laboratory is in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regional laws and regulations, accrediting agency standards, safety standards and ACM policies and procedures. Ensure quality input to and approval of all laboratory operations policies and procedures. In conjunction with laboratory, management, establish and execute a plan for global policies and procedures management to ensure accuracy, compliance consistency, timely revision of and effective training on all procedures. Under direction, promote and ensure integration and standardization of quality standards, quality metrics and procedures and the US and UK locations and where possible at our global affiliate laboratories. Monitor the quality performance of laboratory departments through the use of routine audits, quality metrics, other appropriate quality control and quality assurance activities. Oversee the conduct of external regulatory and accrediting agency inspections, manage ongoing licensing and accreditation requirements. Supervisor and direct activities of laboratory QA staff including auditors(s) and laboratory safety officer. Participate in lean/Six Sigma process improvement efforts, chair and or participate in laboratory Quality and Safety committees. REQUIRED: BA degree in Medical Technology or related field (chemistry, microbiology, public health administration). Minimum 5-7 yrs experience for a licensed Medical Technologist and Minimum 7-10 years experience for a licensed Medical Laboratory Technician. Functional knowledge of all applicable regulations, (NY State, CLIA and CAP). PREFERRED: Masters Degree in related field, functional knowledge of JCAHO and ISO regulations and laboratory inspection or auditing experience. (1) FT, Days.   APPLY

MEDICAL BILLING ASSOCIATE, BILLING: 160 Elmgrove Park  Knowledge of billing rules and regulations to ensure that accounts are being submitted accurately, enter and maintain integrity of patient demographic information, maintain and control receivables using aging reports, research and resolve outstanding aging accounts, correct all accounts that need additional information to be billed. Required: HS diploma or equiv, good keyboarding, communication and telephone skills essential. 1 year medical billing experience .  (2) FT, Days. No weekends or holidays.  APPLY

HISTOLOGIST/HISTOTECHNICIAN, HISTOLOGY: Professional Office Building at Unity Hospital  Registers surgical specimens in the Soft System (LIS) and provides positive patient id throughout processing. Processes, embeds, cuts and stains all surgical and autopsy tissue submitted for examination to produce quality slides for examination by the pathologists. Prepares solutions and dilutions for fixation, tissue processing, routine and special stains. Performs histo-chemical stains as requested. Recognizes, analyzes and corrects problems using scientific principles. Performs instrument maintenance and troubleshooting. Monitors reagent inventories. REQUIRED: Histotechnology or Medical Technology Degree with ASCP Certification and New York State Department of Education Licensure and min 1 yr lab exp. (1) FT, Days, Variable start time ranging from 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM, one weekend every 1 to 2 months, no holidays.   APPLY

PATIENT SERVICE TECHNICIAN I OR II (PHLEBOTOMIST): Various Patient Service Center Locations  Execute venipuncture procedure, including heel stick & finger stick techniques for the procurement of blood speciments. Perform essential functions necessary to maintain integrity of specimens. REQUIRED: HS diploma or equiv and 6 months exp OR HS diploma or equiv and certificate from school of phlebotomy with documented clinical experience required. CLEAN VALID NYS DRIVERS LICENSE REQUIRED.
